Growing up with her face pressed into fashion magazines and watching glamorous classic musicals, studying the makeups of Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minnelli, Rita Hayworth...the list goes on, Nancie knew she wanted to be in movies.
Making her home in Los Angeles since 1995, Nancie jumped into the world of makeup with actor headshots and theater productions. Working as Makeup Artist Trainer with stila Cosmetics, she traveled across the U.S. and to England, Ireland, Scotland stopping a few times in New York for Fashion Week.
While meeting women from all her travels, noticing that each one is a unique beauty and treats her makeup as such, she has learned makeup is truly an Art Form which is continuously inspired by every thing around us. For creative inspiration, one can spot her visiting art museums where colour, line, perspective and history are constant guides.
On set, Nancie is down to earth, with a diligent, professional attitude while focused on being solution-oriented to any potential problem. She works extremely well in the face-paced, collaborative world producers now demand. Her goal on every project is to be timely, on budget and to set everyone at ease with her light, friendly manners.
In addition to Makeup and Hair Styling, she is a Skin Care Specialist and CA licensed Barber.
